The Natural Drinks Company (UK) have developed a ground-breaking range of children’s soft drinks, containing 100% natural ingredients with no sugar and zero calories.

As the sugar drinks industry is facing a turbulent future due to their detrimental effects, particularly children’s drinks, The Natural Drinks Company is ideally placed to experience rapid growth post product-launch.

Langtons have supported The Natural Drinks Company from inception, producing business plans and detailed financial projections to assist in approaching investors and raising finance.

As well as providing business support, Langtons have also facilitated introductions between TNDC and major retailers, leading to subsequent orders for the business.

Langtons also provided specialist tax advice and assistance to the shareholders throughout the fundraising process.

Bibby Financial Services were identified as a suitable funder, with funds being successfully raised via a stock and invoice finance facility.

Brooktherm Refrigeration, provider of industrial refrigeration and HVAC services, has been acquired by Daikin Applied (UK).

Brooktherm Refrigeration, established in 2000, is a leading provider of industrial refrigeration and HVAC services, primarily across the North West. Brooktherm provides full scope turn-key projects and services that includes design, supply and installation along with bespoke maintenance.

Daikin Applied (UK) is part of a wider European group and their Rome-headquartered parent company, Daikin Applied Europe S.p.A, specialises in the design and production of chillers, heat pumps, air handling units, compressors and inverter drives. The acquisition looks to strengthen Daikin’s service and maintenance capability across the UK and marks another step in their strategy to develop its Industrial HVAC projects and solutions.
