We help you turn accounting, tax and financial information into clear, practical insight, so you can understand your business and make better decisions.
ExploreWe understand that ambitious business owners need more than compliance from their accountants.
They need clarity when decisions are complex, confidence when the stakes are high, and trusted advice that helps them move forward.

Accountancy and business advice: They are managing risk, protecting value, planning for growth and making decisions that affect employees, customers and shareholders. They need advisors who understand the full reality of running a business, not just the numbers.
Langtons supports these businesses with honest guidance, responsive service and joined-up financial advice that helps them make better decisions and build stronger businesses.
Langtons is proud to be part of Accelerate, a global alliance of independent accounting firms who are committed to realising the ambitions of privately-owned, fast-growing, mid-market clients with cross-border needs.
Accelerate is among the most respected and collaborative organisations for accounting firms worldwide. Its affiliation with Crowe Global means Langtons’ clients have global access to local knowledge from a business, regulatory and tax perspective to help them cross borders with efficiency and confidence.
Many clients come to Langtons when their business is growing, their financial needs are becoming more complex, or they have outgrown a purely compliance-led relationship with their accountant. They may be considering investment, succession, restructuring, acquisition, disposal, audit requirements, tax planning or better financial reporting.
Our role is to help you understand the numbers, see the wider picture and make informed decisions with confidence.
Of course, you need advice that is accurate, current and professionally sound. But you also need people who understand your business, respond when it matters and explain things in a way that helps you act.

We give clear, honest advice
We don’t hide behind jargon. We don’t make things more complicated than they need to be. And we don’t tell clients only what is easiest to hear. We give straightforward advice that helps you understand your position, weigh up your options and make informed decisions.
We understand ambitious owner-managed businesses
Running a business brings pressure. You’re managing risk, protecting value, supporting people, planning for growth and making decisions that affect employees, clients, customers and shareholders. We understand that context. Our advice is not just technically correct. It’s shaped around your business, your goals and the decisions in front of you.
We stay close and responsive
Responsiveness matters. When you have a question, a deadline or a decision to make, you need to know your advisors are paying attention. We keep clients updated, respond clearly and make it easier to understand what is happening and why.
We work as part of your wider team
Our best client relationships are long-term partnerships. We take time to understand your business, your ambitions and the people behind the numbers. That means we can act as a sounding board, spot risks and opportunities, coordinate advice across service lines and support you through different stages of growth.
We bring joined-up support
As your business grows, your accountancy and finance needs often become more complex. You may need accounting support, audit, tax planning, corporate finance advice, carbon accounting or access to trusted specialists. Langtons brings that support together, so you have a clear route through complexity and a team that understands the bigger picture.
We believe in giving back to the communities around us. Our team supports local causes by giving time, raising funds and organising events that bring people together. From supporting The Hive and Caldy RUFC to hosting our Annual Langtons’ Charity Quiz nights and dragon boat racing for Cash for Kids, we are proud to support local causes that deliver positive impact across our community.

At Langtons we are committed to responsible business. We believe we have a duty to create a positive impact in our community and to play our part towards creating a more sustainable future. This belief is closely aligned with our values as an organisation as we collaborate with our staff, clients and suppliers to take positive steps on the road to achieving net zero.
Although we have long recognised our role within the local community, during 2024 we have taken steps to start the process of reducing our environmental impact. First of all, we needed to measure our baseline emissions. To do this we have partnered with carbon management experts, Trace, to calculate our carbon emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3.
Next, we collaborated with Trace to formulate our plan for decarbonisation. We are now working towards reducing our emissions and have several initiatives in place to help us achieve that goal. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and achieving Net Zero and have set out a roadmap to achieve this.

Following our carbon measurement we have opted to offset our emissions by investing in a carbon reduction and biodiversity project through Make It Wild, a biodiversity project in Yorkshire and the Peak District.
In order to offset our 2024 emissions and become Carbon Neutral, we have planted 50 trees in Rowan Tree Farm in the Peak District. We are excited that our Langtons trees will be helping to absorb carbon, produce oxygen as well as supporting insects, birds and small mammals for many decades to come.
