Growing Interactive, a UK based software company providing garden planning applications, tools and resources for gardeners, has been acquired by US based Epic Gardening.
Growing Interactive, formed in 2006, has developed garden planning and related digital tools, including the GrowVeg Garden Planner and associated apps and websites that help gardeners plan and manage their gardens with intuitive, visual software.
Epic Gardening is a US-based gardening media and e-commerce company with a content-driven platform offering gardening education through articles, YouTube videos, social content, podcasts and books as well as an online store selling curated gardening products that complement its educational content.
The acquisition of Growing Interactive and its flagship GrowVeg brand expands the scope of Epic’s gardening and content offerings to include Growing Interactive’s apps and software expertise.
Langtons acted as lead advisors to the shareholders, providing assistance with deal structuring and support throughout the negotiation, financial due diligence and legal process.
Growing Interactive was acquired by Epic Gardening with the founder, Jermey Dore, remaining in the business following the sale.
