At Langtons we’re committed to playing our part in the community around us.
Our corporate Finance Director Alice Gregan is on the committee for The Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch and this year we were delighted to be a sponsor for the event.
It was a wonderful event and saw £38,000 raised for The Hive Youth Zone, a charity dedicated to making sure Wirral’s young people have somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to.
Attendees on the day heard from the inspirational Natasha Dowie, who spoke about being a footballer for Watford, playing for England, and then becoming the current women’s ambassador for Liverpool FC.
They also heard a moving speech from 15-year-old Charlotte at The Hive Youth Zone who spoke about her personal experience growing up with The Hive and the fantastic work that the team do to change young people’s lives.
Well done to Alice and all the team for a great event, for a very worthy cause.
