Why train at Langtons
Whether you are a graduate or a school leaver – we can offer you a unique training path. Our client base is typical of a larger mid-tier firm. We offer our clients a dedicated and tailored service expected from a smaller firm but with the expertise and experience of a larger firm.
As a result, you will be working on audits typical of a larger firm but with the difference of being part of a smaller and more rewarding team. This will enable you to gain exposure to some quality audits providing you with exceptional experience and responsibility at a much sooner stage of your career. Your professional development will be accelerated, you will have closer client contact and the wider experience gained will provide you with the skills to grow as a professional adviser.
You will be studying for your qualification (ACA or otherwise) and will be provided with time off for tuition, revision and exams. You will be assigned a mentor from day 1 and they will help and support you to develop your tailored training and career development plan.
Once you have qualified, your development will continue through our supportive learning and development programme. We provide tailored plans for leadership development, personal development and specialist technical development.
Whether you continue on your career path at Langtons or move on elsewhere, you will have gained a solid foundation of technical ability and leadership skills to equip you in your career. We believe in the mantra – train staff so well they’re ready to leave, treat them so well they don’t want to. You will be given the opportunities to help you grow, develop and lead Langtons into the future.
Hear from our trainees:
"Training at Langtons has been fantastic. You get a lot of practical experience in different areas with managers who are always happy to help. Colleagues at all stages of the qualification will share their advice and experiences which makes you feel much more comfortable. At Langtons there is a lot of autonomy and flexibility over the structure of your studying which allows you to go at the right pace for you. The firm encourages students to socialise and provides a fund for social events which has been really beneficial for relaxing outside of work with colleagues you can relate to."Sophie Marshall, Trainee Accountant
