Adlib Audio Limited provides technical production services for all aspects of live events along with rental, sales and installation divisions which design and supply professional public address, lighting and audio visual systems to suit a wide variety of venues, events and applications.
Following the expansion by Adlib into Scotland to support its sales and installation clients, Adlib acquired the business of Scottish based EFX Audio Limited.
Stagetex Limited was a Liverpool based business operating in the same sectors as Adlib, and the acquisition consolidated Adlib’s position in the market.

Langtons assisted Adlib Audio in structuring and negotiating the acquisitions of EFX Audio and Stagetex, and in raising the finance in order to make the acquisition.
This role included the preparation of a business plan and financial projections and assistance during the legal and due diligence process.
Results
The acquisition was completed successfully in a short time-scale and with a minimum of disruption and enabled Adlib to further enhance its service offering in Scotland.
The company now plans to relocate to new premises and make a significant investment in stock in order to provide clients with considerably more options without the need to go further afield.
